Aveda Secretly Pulls Environmentally Unfriendly Hair Product?

Aveda Secretly Pulls Environmentally Unfriendly Hair Product?

I don't know who your "inside source" is but I work for Aveda and Brilliant Shine Spray has NOT been recalled. When Estee Lauder acquired or company it was sold with the stipulation that they had to mainatin the integrity of the whole line. As an added note the company was sold in 1997 and the Brilliant line was most definitely well established before that date. Company employees, distribution salons, etc. job security is not based on how much you sell. While selling the products doesn't hurt your business you will not suffer job loss for selling too little. Aveda strives to be environmentally sound in a world that is just now catching onto the damages that have been done. It's not a perfect company, but they're above average when compared with others. Oh and Burt's Bees? While their products are great....their makeup? I didn't know the glitter/shimmer in their lipsticks was found in nature. If you want to be informed try reading a label instead of bashing a company that has been making strides in environmental conservation since the seventies.
